The customers of the house are a couple who want to afford to live in their retirement in a non-trivial, unique modern house finished with natural materials. Since Moscow's weather assumes snowy winters, the roof, according to their specifications, must necessarily be pitched. Usually, homes with such roofs look very unremarkable. Here, from a certain angle 2 independent houses form a common pitched roof, although each building has only one slope, which allows you to play with the interior of the house: in the living room huge corner window expands and increases the volume of the living room, and in the area of bedroom bevel roof creates irregular geometry of the rooms for non-standard design.

The task of the design of the house we set as the creation of an expressive home to brighten up life in the frequent gray Moscow weekdays. An aesthetic filled with "perfect imperfection" is obtained by initially decomposing the whole, then reconfiguring it to include new materials. The creative process is the result of artistic layering.

The complex of two buildings is connected by the central entrance. The first building has one floor, the second has two floors. The different number of stories of the buildings and the direction of the roofs creates a curious play of volumes.

The one-story building with arches in which the living room is located and the two-story building with 4 bedrooms and common window on 2 floors with a metal installation form a grand entrance between them in the depth of the facade which is decorated from outside with descending strip lighting.

The facade consists of a combination of three basic natural materials: concrete plaster, larch wood planken and beige ceramic granite cladding.

Balconies did not want by the owners, instead of them - a zone for recreation in the garden. The buildings form an enclosed courtyard, which is decorated with a hearth and a seating area with couches around it. A short mowed lawn and recessed concrete steps to the house make the space around the hearth a modern and minimalistic. Depending on the color and shade of stone and wood chosen, the look of the facade can change completely.

On the laconic back of the facade, the second floor is adorned with tall beveled windows to match the roof.

Lighting:
- Illuminating the noble larch, linear LED lighting under the roofs
- accentuating the texture of the material, spotlights on the walls of the façade
- The columns on one side and on the other are lit by spotlights
- High-spreading ribbons under the steps at the main entrance
- the landscape is decorated with spot and minimalist semi-circular designer lights.

The fence around the house is made of concrete with wood inserts.
