The main idea for the project was an interior space of an attic guest room of a private house and also give the room a unique memorable look with the help of textures, finishes, shapes, decor and perhaps with distinctive colors and shades. The composition and concept was based on a large round purple carpet, which resembles a large purple moon. It gave the name of the project: "Purple moon". The carpet set the main color of the concept: purple or berry.

The main character is a graphic floor, developed by the author of the project (flooring select from FaMa Parquet, Natural Line 07, 08, 15 and Dark line 14 collections, size 160x1200 mm). Contrast zigzag set the main rhythm of the whole interior, which formed a bed linen designer print and designer wall panels in ethnic style.

Lincrusta Crichton and FaMa Décor interior paints: Biofa 4-46-6 (purple), Biofa 5-11-2 (creme, beige), Biofa 3-35-4 (blue) are used for wall decoration. Biofa paints are also used in the wooden panels on the wall in the living space.

A lot of timber and ethnic motif in the interior space emphasize the Eco friendliness of the materials. Simple forms of BRIMNES set from IKEA in oak effect execution softens saturation of finishing materials, and “Nature recalls” effect, cos the room is a part of an ecovillage house, as well as gravure on walls with a forest landscape with mysterious purple mist.

An inspiration was also a beautiful interior plant oxalis triangularis purple shamrock. Color and triangular leaf of the plant perfectly emphasize the uniqueness of the floor pattern and complete the composition of the entire interior.
